Wife. Mother. Counselor. Activist. All of these words are used to
describe me. All of them, I wear with honor as each role is very
significant to me and those around me. But the one that means the most
is Disciple….for Jesus Christ.
I LOVE Jesus. Deeply.
I’m sure people hear that a lot but really, when you have been set
free from things like I have and you are able to fathom the love that He
has for you, it’s kind of hard not to want to live your life pleasing
Him and telling others about Him.
My purpose for starting this blog was to connect with people. Not
just to share stories about me….but about Jesus and what He can do to
transform your life when you give it over to Him. I gave my heart to
Jesus very early in my life and despite not always making the best
decisions, I can honestly say that I can see where He was…even in those
moments when I thought I was alone. My heart’s desire is to see people
break the shackles of the things in life that plague them and to step
into a life that is more fulfilling…a life that is complete. My purpose
is to challenge you and your way of thinking. My purpose is to encourage
you to move from the point of where you are – to where you are supposed
to be. It’s time for fear – in all of its forms – to be put down once
and for all. It has no place in your life.
My Savior is beyond amazing. Words can’t fully describe how He has
changed my life. He loves radically. So much so that he gave His life
for each and every one of us so that we could reconciled unto the
Father. Not sure what that means? Don’t worry. You will.
My prayer for you is that you step into the full realization of who
Jesus is, accept Him as Lord and Savior, and passionately pursue a
relationship with Him. It will bring you more joy than you could ever
imagine and you will experience a freedom that only comes from loving
and serving Jesus Christ.
